About the Vacation Program

ActewAGL’s Finance Division is seeking Expressions of Interest for enthusiastic and highly motivated Undergraduate students to participate in the 2022/23 Vacation Employment Program. The program is a paid internship over the university summer holidays in January 2023 and February 2023 with the potential for part-time employment throughout the remainder of 2023 and is Canberra based.

The successful participant will gain a wide variety of practical experience across the disciplines of Financial Control, Management and Financial Accounting, Taxation, Advisory and Treasury. This position represents a great opportunity to apply your skills and knowledge from your studies across a wide range of Finance related tasks in a large corporate organisation serving the local community.

We are looking for enthusiastic self-starters that:

• Are currently undertaking a degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Commerce, or Business
• Are currently in their third or fourth year of study
• Have obtained a least a credit average across all completed subjects
• Have necessary documentation confirming Australian work rights
• Are available for the full vacation period during January 2023 and February 2023
• Possess demonstrated high-level communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated a willingness to adapt and learn across a number of Finance related tasks
